Create your seller account

Go to closetcleanoutsale.com and create a free account with your name, email, and password. That's it — you're in.

Set up your payment info

In your dashboard settings add your Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App handle. This is how your buyers will pay you directly. You keep 100% of every sale — we never touch your money.

Create a sale

Tap "+ New Sale" from your dashboard. Give your sale a name like "Spring Closet Cleanout" and you're ready to start adding items.

Add your items

Tap "+ Add Item" for each piece you want to sell. Add up to 6 photos, set your price, size, brand, and condition. The more detail the better — buyers love photos!

💡 Tip: Take photos in good natural lighting. Show front, back, and any flaws. Items with great photos sell faster.

Go live

When your items are ready tap "▶ Go Live" and your sale is open for shoppers instantly.

💡 Tip: Build hype before you go live! Post on Facebook that your sale is coming and tell people what time to expect it.

Share your sale link

Once live tap "🔗 Share Link" to copy your unique sale URL. Share it on Facebook, in group chats, via text — anywhere your buyers are. Anyone who clicks the link can shop your sale instantly.

Create your sale ad

Tap "📣 Create Ad" to generate a branded image with your first 8 items, prices, and your sale link. Screenshot it or download it and post it anywhere to drive buyers to your sale.

💡 Tip: Post your ad to Facebook groups, your story, and in group chats before and during your sale for maximum traffic.

Watch orders come in

Open your dashboard and tap the "Orders" tab. Every time a buyer checks out you'll see their name, contact info, what they bought, the total, and how they're paying. Items automatically show as Held or Sold in real time.

Confirm payments

Check your Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App for each payment. Once you've received it tap "✅ Confirm Payment Received" on the order. The buyer gets an instant confirmation on their screen.

💡 Tip: Confirm payments quickly — it builds trust and keeps buyers happy!

End your sale

When you're done selling tap "⏹ End Sale". Your sale page will show buyers that the sale has ended. All your order history stays saved in your dashboard forever.

How do I get paid?

Buyers pay you directly on Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App — whichever handles you have set up in your profile. You receive money straight to your account. Closet Cleanout never handles your money.

What if a buyer doesn't pay?

If a buyer checks out but doesn't send payment just don't confirm their order. You can reach them using the contact info shown on the order.

Can I edit items after going live?

Yes! You can edit or delete any available item at any time while your sale is live. Items that are already held or sold cannot be edited.

What is the waitlist?

If a buyer claims an item but doesn't checkout within 15 minutes the item is released. The next person in the waitlist automatically gets it assigned to their cart. This is all handled automatically — you don't need to do anything.

Can I run more than one sale?

Yes! You can have multiple sales in your dashboard at different stages — draft, live, or ended.
