First time? You'll be asked to create a free account with your name, email, and a password. Takes less than a minute. Once you're set up you'll never have to do it again — you'll be logged in automatically for future sales.

Browse the sale

See all items in a clean grid with photos, prices, sizes, and brands. Filter by category to find exactly what you're looking for. Every item shows its current status — Available, Held, or Sold — updating in real time.

💡 Tip: Act fast on items you love! Available items can be claimed by anyone at any time.

Claim your items

Tap any item to see the full details. Like it? Tap "Claim It 🙋" — the item is immediately added to your cart and held just for you.

You have 15 minutes to checkout

Once you claim an item a 15 minute timer starts. You have that window to finish browsing and checkout. If the timer runs out your items are released back for others to claim — so don't wait too long!

⚠️ Important: You must stay on the sale page to keep your cart and your waitlist spots. If you close the tab or navigate away your cart expires and you lose your place in any waitlists.

Join the waitlist for held items

See something you love but it's already held by someone else? Tap "Join Waitlist". You'll be added to the queue in order. If the person ahead of you doesn't checkout in time — the item automatically comes to you. Fair and automatic, no refreshing required.

💡 Your queue position is shown on the item card so you always know where you stand.

Checkout

When you're ready tap the cart bar at the bottom of the screen. Review your items, then select how you want to pay — Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App. Tap the Pay button to open the app with the amount pre-filled, send the payment to the seller, then tap "I've Sent Payment".

Wait for confirmation

After you tap "I've Sent Payment" you'll see a waiting screen with your order summary. The seller will verify your payment and confirm it. As soon as they do your screen automatically updates to show ✅ Payment Confirmed!

What happens if I close the tab?

If you close the sale tab or navigate away your cart is released and you lose your waitlist spots. This keeps things fair for everyone — just like showing up in person. Make sure to checkout before leaving!

How do I pay?

You pay the seller directly on Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App. At checkout tap the Pay button next to your chosen payment method — it opens the app with the amount pre-filled so there's no guessing.

What if my cart timer runs out?

Your held items are released back to available and the next person in line gets a chance to claim them. You can try to claim them again if they become available — but act fast!

How does the waitlist work?

When you join a waitlist your position is locked in by the time you joined — first come first served. If the person ahead of you doesn't checkout in 15 minutes the item automatically moves to your cart and you'll see a notification on your screen.

Is my account free?

Yes! Buyer accounts are completely free. You only pay the seller for the items you purchase.

How do I find sales to shop?

Sales are shared by sellers directly — look for sale links posted in Facebook groups, group chats, or on sellers' personal pages. Once you have an account you can shop any Closet Cleanout sale instantly.
